SpringMath begins with universal screening three times a year to identify math risk, using equivalent forms drawn from a mapped progression of 145 math skill areas that keeps measurement accurate and consistent at the right stage of instruction.

From those data, SpringMath automatically generates scripted lessons for teachers and paper-based practice materials for students that target the skills the whole class needs to master, calculates response to intervention weekly from students' daily practice as built-in progress monitoring, and produces the next week's classwide, small-group, and individual routines and materials.
